 A cheap watch that goes the distance for you and has a slim lineJan 08, 2008

I am a landscaper and I put these watches through a lot. I have them in pink, blue, purple, and black, and each one has lasted me years. I get them dirty and wet on a daily basis, they get hot, they get cold, and they keep on working and rarely need a new battery even. I finally retired my last two when my new kittens chewed BOTH wristbands off in a matter of two days!
So as long as you keep these away from feisty kittens, you should enjoy these watches for a long time. They aren't the prettiest things ever, but they have a sporty and slim look that is appealing, and the thinness of the watch head and the band are both elements that are hard to find in an inexpensive watch. I hate when watchbands stick out too far from my wrist, and these are the slimmest ones I have found.
Recommended for anyone needing a sporty, slim, tough watch.
The one caveat is that the black one has a white ring around the face with a silver circle in the center, while the colored ones have a colored ring with a colored shimmery circle in the center that is a bit cooler to look at. So the black one looks a bit less stylish than the others in this line. I bought it knowing this and am happy with it all the same.

Has stood up well during gardening, getting wet/dirty. It's also attractive & has a slim profile. I have a small wrist that is always hard to fit, but this one is great & stays in place. The only adjustment I made is to the metal clip that you use to slide the end of the watchband into: this clip was too loose & would slide off the band tip. I used pliers to gently tighten the clip, & now it's perfect. Plan to buy another as a gift for a gardening friend.

I've only had it for about a month, but already this watch has proved itself. It's been splashed with boiling dye, sprayed with housepaint, worn into the shower on accident, and whacked into more things then I can count; it's never skipped a beat, and it's so easy to clean that even the paint came off with a little scrubbing. It's a great everyday watch, and surprisingly nice looking -- even the plastic band.
The face is a little small, and the fit of the band is a little off on me. Plus I would have appreciated some kind of illumination/glow on the face; it can be a little hard to read, especially in dim light. But given the beating it's taken and the price, this is a great deal if you're looking for a watch you can kick the crap out of that still stylish.

This watch is lightweight and does not look or feel cheap. Does not scratch easily and can be worn in the shower. The only concern is that you will need to pinch the watchband clasp with a pair of pliers because it is quite loose and the band will slip out of it.

I love this watch!!! It's light, not bulky at all as sport watches are, I have a very small wrist. Best of all, on a hot sweaty day, it can be washed!! I read somewhere that it comes in other colors than black & pink. I would buy em all!!
