In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch. Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams. Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion. | | | Features: | |

Definitely a power watch! Beautiful movement and unique see-through back feature. An absolute attention getter!! Never ordered from this company before, so i was skeptical. Package came perfect , box in-tact and most important , watch was NEW with papers as if purchased from a jeweler! I did my research first and found this was THE best price on the net as well as in the stores. My husband will be happily surprised this xmas!

Magnificent timepieceJan 03, 2010

My girlfriend bought me this watch for christmas 09, and it really is a fantastic piece. I have about fifteen different watches, and this is definately in my top 3. (along with another bulova and a citizen) It has decent heft to it, the movement is stunning, and I keep watching the little gears move as it ticks. Looks great, and everyone comments on what a nice watch it is. Fantastic.

buy this watchOct 28, 2010
By cboyd This watch is a great buy. It costs over $400 at any jewelry store that has it and it would be worth even that price. High quality, looks great, lots of compliments. I'm an engineer so the gears are just awesome to watch (get it?).

Very clean looking beautiful watchJan 18, 2011
By Kari This watch is so much prettier in person. The pictures do NOT do it justice! I bought this watch for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it. He likes a bit of a bigger watch face so this watch is perfect. A nice weight to it but not so heavy it feels cumbersome. I like how you can see all the inner workings of the watch from the front and from the back. It is truly a beautiful watch. The crystal face is so clear and the design of the face itself is so sophisticated looking. This watch could be worn with a suit or dressed down with jeans and a button down or polo. Bulova has been my go to brand for the past 5 years and they have never disappointed. (And you can't go wrong with Overstock's prices!) LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

Bulova TimeMay 29, 2011

There is no question that when it does come down to watches, Bulova has been one of the few watch companies that have remained distinctive and simple with each of their watches. That holds well for men with this square-faced automatic dial watch. It is a sleek and simple bracelet watch that handles well for men with a convient, distinctive price. I like this one because it is convient and elegant, but also a watch that doesn't need the hustle and bustle expensive waste that most other watches do carry. The only one flaw with this delightful stainless steel watch is that I honestly wish though there could've been roman italics or numerals on i, because it would've made it a bit simpler at telling time with it. Still, Bulova handles better than Seiko does with Japanese-automatic movement in their watches, and this Bulova Men's watch is a great buy.
