Pretty sweet but crappy lightJun 28, 2008

The watch was great value and pretty stylish. I'm not planning on using the databank feature much as that's what cell phones are for these days but I do use world time occasionally and the count down timer is also.
After owning a few metal link band watches I had to bite the bullet and go back to a rubber strap to fit my skinny wrist better and it's the best move I've made.
The main downside of this watch is the useless LED backlighting. Remember thos eold watches your Dad used to have with the litlle ligh on the side that never illuminted anything. This is the same thing. Contrary to what some others have said the light is not bright enough to even light the analogue face let alone the digital.
Why anyone would go back to this old technology after the brilliant invention of electroluminesence is crazy, but it's a mistake Casio made with a few of their latest range.

Sleek, comfortable, and highly adjustable.Sep 22, 2010
By Derek Slaughter This watch is very sleek with the black/gold/silver color scheme, the rubber strap is stronger than the cheap watches you find, and the strap has more size adjusting holes than most but the excess strap is well handled and not flapping in the way. I would certainly recommend this watch for those that want a nice time piece that will go with any clothing style or color style and last a long time.
A fantastic watch bargainSep 28, 2011
By Richard L. Gordon For years, my preferred watch was an old Seiko digital analogue that was a perennial catalog listing at about $50. I always intended to buy a backup for when it died but by the time mine died Seiko had withdrawn it. For years afterwards, I would scan watch counters for a satisfactory replacement. About five years ago at a local Walmart, my eye caught this amazingly low-priced Casio digital-analog. While it has a black face and silver edge, it does far more than any watch I have previously encountered and does not have the excessive ornamentation endemic to analog-digital watches. In an era where the digital watchmakers have increasingly gone ridiculously upscale, the Casio is a welcome alternative. It is the best value that I have seen and thus this time I got a backup.
Nice watch, horrible lightMar 21, 2009
By RayRay This is a very nice looking watch. I was impressed with how light the watch was and how well it fits. I really don't like the trend of men's watches becoming bigger and heavier. I didn't want or need a huge watch. I wanted something small and lightweight and this fit the bill nicely.
The one problem as other reviews have mentioned, the light is horrible. It is the old fashioned light with two small LEDs on the side of the face. The problem is when you light up the watch, these lights shine across the face not really illuminating anything. This makes it extremely hard to read at night. I don't why they choose this type of light ever the newer technology.
