Does not work in Vancouver, BC!!!May 14, 2008
By Raymond Thomson I bought this watch because I like the idea of having it always accurate. The only trouble is that it does not get the signal in the area where I reside, Vancouver, BC. I had another Casio that used to work fine and get a good signal in Vancouver, BC, but for some reason it totally stopped working. So I bought this one and immediately adjusted the belt to fit my wrist. Unfortunately, I need to return it but they would not take it back since the watch was resized and used. The Online store suggested me to contact Casio, which in turn suggested me to contact the store where I purchased the watch. I am still trying to find a solution.

It is not the greatest G-Shock!Sep 17, 2008

Never seen the actual product from any store. Saw it on the web felt that looked attractive. After received it, feel that is just a normal watch, feel like a toy watch. Black face plate looks different than other black plate G-Shock. Thought the illumination lighted up the whole watch. No, only the digits. I had one G-Shock with black face plate and it lights up the entire face plate when illuminated. Local time, other city time, timer, stop watch, alarms are just regular functions offered by all G-Shock. Nothing to be excited. No phone # storage. Text on face plate is too small. Difficult to read. The "PM" indicator is very small. I use the 24 hours format instead. "DST" also shows on the watch but too small to know it exists. Find out the watch needs to be under the sun or bright light daily in order to charge the builtin battery. The watch is light and smaller than it looks on the website. This is not the G-Shock that I expect. If you want a G-Shock, more new models to be selected from Casio. This G-Shock doesn't worth $120. I keep it just as a watch.
