5Good watch, nice sized displayOct 16, 2009
By Yavas Williams
I haven't had a watch in a while, and after getting this one about a month ago, its nice to be able to know the date and time again! The display is well designed and easy to read, and its easy to figure out, after a while. It took me a couple days to get used to the functions, it came with a manual with helped a lot. There's 4 alarms and one snooze, which is easy to set up, just hit the mode button 3 times to cycle to the alarm mode, then 3 more to get back. And the beep sound is higher when it gets back to the main screen, which helps to know where you are while going through the modes. And what is also cool is that the two buttons on the right are forward and reverse, so once you get to a mode, you can change the setting by going forward or reverse. This saves time cuz I remember when using watches in the past, you could only go forward so it could take a while.

The three circular things at the top of the display are mainly for looks, the two smaller circles count 10 seconds at a time continuously with a digital notch, and the big middle circle counts one notch every ten seconds that pass. I haven't figured out why one would need to use this feature, but like I said it looks cool. It also has a world time feature that lets you adjust time zones by changing to a city in the specific zone. I also don't need this feature, so I haven't used it, but its easy to use it by hitting the mode button.

It claims to have a mineral display that helps protect the screen from scratches. I have a couple very slight scratches already that are hardly noticeable. I don't know if this is typical, since its been a while since I've had a watch. They can only be seen when trying to see them. And the light feature works fine, it illuminates with a orange light that comes from behind the left side, so its not "backlit", but it lights the whole screen, so I don't mind it. I don't know if the 10 year battery will actually last 10 years, but based on what I've read about Casio 10 year batteries, there's good reason to believe it'll last.

And the final thing I'll say, is that when I first got the watch, the band was bigger than I needed, so I had to get a knife and push out a couple of the pins and remove their couplings to adjust it to a size that would fit. It took a little bit to do this, and it didn't say anything about this in the manual either, so I figured I'd mention it.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the watch, and it was a good price on here. I got it from amazon's shopemco merchant, cuz it was 23.80 with free shipping. It needs to be $25 to get free shipping from amazon, so if you wanna save money, that's a good way to go. I would definitely go Casio again, if the watch continues to work well after some years.

4Nice watchMar 26, 2010
By Robert Kruckenberg
After owning this watch for a month, I have grown to really like it. I was concerned that it was too big for my small wrists, but I'm used to it by now. The large numbers for the time display are really nice; and the bold "font" gives the watch a modern look. The buttons are much more easy to push than my old Casio.

My only complaint so far is the soft crystal used. I already have a thin 1/4" scatch (fortunately in an unnoticable area). After having successful results on an older Casio watch I pulled out the old Dremel with the cloth/fiber polishing wheel. I was instantly horrified at how easily this carved out additional crystal rather than smooth out the scratch (I didn't even use the polishing compound). I do not recommend anyone else trying this.

I would easily have paid twice the price for this watch if the face had a more scratch resistant surface.

5Great watch & very stylish!Mar 08, 2008

I got this watch a couple days ago and it is very good! It has lots things on it that i even use at work like the world time function. I can look at the time in Germany, UK, Japan, wherever it's great! It goes with the nice work clothes too. very nice i would recommend it to anyone!

5Sturdy and StrongFeb 08, 2012
By Annabel Deibler
I bought this for my husband, he needed a nicer watch for work, that was strong and sturdy. I definitely got it in this watch. He starts his shift early, at 0430, and that it is a nice watch, with a light up feature is a bonus. He really loved it, and it has taken some falls and bumps, but still looks great.

3OkMar 21, 2010

This watch looked nicer than it is. It feels really light weight (which for some that may be good), which feels a little cheap to me. The options on this watch seem to be more than necessary. Why would I ever put an email or website on my watch? The light is a little cheap, I don't like the side "yellow" light, it doesn't illuminate the face enough. The face seems a little cluttery with dials on top that don't really mean anything to me.
I was looking for a nice looking watch that I can wear with business casual and everyday clothes. I cannot wear analog watches as they don't keep time for me properly, so I had to find a nice digital one.
It's not all bad, the time is very easy to see, the light button is big and easy to press and use. It has nice basic features such as a stop watch, timer and a second time zone clock. And really that's all that I need. I don't need or want a couple of the other features on this watch. After having my watch for about a month now there are already a few surface scratches.
For the price, it's not bad, but I should've just gone with another Timex.
