Great watch!Sep 06, 2009
By Lilyana's Mom I love this watch. I finally spent the few extra bucks to get a Fossil watch (spent about $60) because my husband wears one and it has lastest over 10 years. This is great. It is small enough to work well for me - both work and dress. The crystal doesn't scratch. This was my biggest complaint with other watches. I am constantly doing something and my watches take a beating. I need one that looks good and holds up. You can see the hands in the dark, just not easily. But it's good enough for me. I like the date feature, too. Simple, but effective. Hopefully, mine will last as long as my husbands.

Great Looking WatchMar 15, 2010

Love the feel of the leather, the go with anything style and the light-weight comfortable wearing this watch provides!
Date feature is easy to see yet doesn't distract from the overall aesthetics of the watch. Leather is light-weight and soft and good quality. The lining under the band provides for extra softness for your skin. I love the styling of this watch and wear it with everything but cocktail dresses (although I must admit I rarely wear those anyways).
Things to note: -Hands and background do not light up or glow and hands do not reflect light well. If it is important to be able to easily read your watch in a very dim or dark room this may not be the watch for you. However, I have never found myself unable to read my watch and also unable to pull out my phone and look at the time on it. -Wrist band is very thin - much thinner in the back which you cannot see in the picture. Might hurt long-time durability but for now it doesn't look like that will be a problem as this watch appears to be well made - as you would expect from a fossil. However, if you have thick wrists and are self-conscious about them then I would highly recommend looking at this watch in person and trying it on before making your purchase. (I have skinny wrists and find that this watch makes them look delicately normal instead of even skinnier like some watches can do.) -I easily found this watch from a good seller (Watch Zone) at $58.00 instead of $65.00.
I have only had this watch for a month so I can't comment on long term durability of the lens, leather, stitching or water-resistant features. If anything changes I'll be sure to update my post!
My only complaint: I wish the second strap-band holder (loop of leather to hold down the excess wrist strap) was tighter. It is too lose to do much good and just slides around most of the time. Good news is the wrist strap is thin so you don't notice very much. I'm not sure if it's just my watch that its too loose on or if it's a feature of all the watches of this model.

I love this watch!Oct 05, 2008

I always have loved Fossil products, and this watch is no exception. I got it to replace my old leather Fossil watch, which I have had for 7 or 8 years now. I wear it in the shower and everything, plus I work in medicine so I am washing my hands constantly, and the band has stood up to all the water wear and tear perfectly (on my old watch). This new watch seems just as great in quality. One thing I will say though- if you have very large wrists the band may seem incredibly small on you (it will fit around your wrist, it's just very very thin and you may want to try it on in a store first to see if you like it).

Not up to par for a FossilDec 30, 2011
By Mrs M Very hard to read the time. Fossil usually makes great watches, but I was really disappointed with this one. The worst problem is you can't take the back off to change the battery.Watch has to be sent back every time you need to replace the battery at a cost of 18.50 plus shipping every time! I returned it

NO Second HandNov 09, 2011
By Bkarlie This watch is beautiful and has a nice thin band that I love. However, there is no second hand. I planned to use the watch at work as a nurse but it has no second hand so it won't work for me.
