Will not buy from Luminox againDec 12, 2009
By C. Montgomery I bought a Luminox 8360 watch mainly for its stop watch features. Unfortunately, the stop watch did not work properly - it would not reset to 0 and required a manual recalibration every time. I sent the watch to the Luminox service center several times. Initially, they wouldn't even acknowledge there was anything wrong with the watch. When I finally got them to understand the problem (after I incurred the unnecessarily repetitive mailing costs - they claimed to have fixed it and sent it back. But it continued to not reset to 0. This watch, and this company's customer support, is worthless.

Not what I would expect from LuminoxFeb 09, 2008
By Jay First I want to say I have had several Luminox watches. I never cared for the earlier or cheaper models because they had and still have mineral crystals and the crowns do not screw down. I like the idea of the all steel case like the EVO 6400 series. They have sapphire crystals that are much more difficult to scratch and the poly / rubber bands are thick and well made. Now for the timepiece, I can't imagine a S.E.A.L wearing this watch in heavy combat. First, the gas lamps would need to be covered as they are most likely a giveaway to your position. If you are a S.E.A.L., you probably already know this. Second, my watch's second hand fell off inside the watch and the bezel marker fell out and was lost. I believe it was caused by repetitive vibration caused from thousands of shots with a nail gun while building a deck. So you can imagine what repetitive weapons fire would do. My Casio Frogman seems to hold up much better when it comes to shock resistance. I left a message with Luminox about the problem and was never contacted.

Less than I had hopedMay 02, 2011
By Dr. Z I purchased this watch because it had the durable sapphire crystal, was easy to read at night, the date was clearly visible & I thought the stopwatch would be useful. It works exactly has I had hoped but has 2 major drawbacks: 1) The band is not very adjustable. There are 3 micro adjustment holes that let you make it slightly larger or smaller once you have the correct number of links in the band but the smallest hole does not allow the band to close. This means the band is either too tight or loose. Most of my other watches have metal bands and I prefer them for their durability but I would avoid them from Luminox. 2) The left dial is supposed to allow the stopwatch to show the running stop time up to 12 hours. It takes over 20 seconds to reset each time (not a big deal) but once reset it gains 4 hours each time so is not zeroed. If this is not bad enough every time I knock the watch (jump off a bench or over a fence) these hands move to a new random position. If I could I would give back this watch for another that did not have the silly stopwatch and a different band.

Super WatchDec 24, 2008

The watch is everything that has been stated. Keeps great time and the glow in the night face helps see time without glasses. I'm using watch for everyday use that includes some heavy work and it's holding up great. I would buy again. Thanks for taking the time to build a great tool.

Love the watch but...Jan 18, 2009

I am very happy with the quality of the watch however I have one issue with the band. It is difficult to fine tune the band to the correct size. It is either too tight or too loose depending on how many links I have. I have chosen to leave it a little loose since the other option doesn't work when the wrist swells during warm weather...But aside from that it works great.
