A beautiful, tough as nails, functional watchAug 05, 2006
By Quality Obsessor This watch is probably the best quartz watch that I have ever owned- bar none, including Seiko watches costing 3 to 4 times as much. It's accurate to the second, of course, and has taken all kinds of abuse (beach, ocean, tennis, white water rafting, etc.) and still looks brand new.
The watch has a screw-down bezel that really remains water tight, even over time. (I have had this watch for about a year.) The face is clear and glows in the dark incredibly bright and for a long time.
The only problem I have is with the 24-hr markings on the face. This gives 3 rows of numbers (see above picture) and makes the face appear a little less clean than it could be, but it has not detracted from my joy and confidence in this watch!
FOLLOW-UP: I have now had this watch for over 3 years of active (and at times abusive) use. It still glistens and looks nearly brand new. I have never had to set the time, it still glows brilliantly in the dark, and has not yet required a battery replacement. After 3 years; still highly recommended
FOLLOW-UP #2: I stumbled across my old review here and thought that I might as well mention that I am still wearing this as my main watch (though I love watches and even have some, such as a Jaeger LeCoultre, that are extremely expensive). It is now 5 1/2 years old! In the meantime, I have had one battery change. Otherwise, it has very few scratches, continues to look great, is comfortable, and continues to be water-proof, including surviving ocean swims. This watch is aging much better than I am and continues to be highly recommended by me for the above reasons.

Great WatchFeb 24, 2006
By Matthew D. Jones This is a highly functional, no-nonsense watch. It is very accurate and has a clear, easily readable illumunated dial, with 12 and 24 hour and five minute interval markings.

An excellent watch at any price.Jul 20, 2007
By Kenneth Meeks I got written up for being late for work. I bought this for what Railroad Approved means, accuracy and a clean watch face. I prefer the stretch band for work. I set this thing a month ago to Atomic Time and it hasn't lost a second. Pulsar is owned by Seiko. Buy this thing.

By A. Ver Steeg-Anderson My husband needed a watch that keeps the time to within a second a month and this one fit the bill. Very sturdy too. We did have a problem with the first watch we ordered, it would not keep proper time at all, but Amazon came through perfectly on the return process even though this purchase involved a "third party" vendor. 5 Stars for Amazon too!

WOW!May 24, 2011
By Wolfee1 When I pulled this PULSAR Watch out of the box I went "WOW", it is that nice, and luckily enough the Stainless-Steel Bracelet fits like a Glove, I hit it so many times so far and Not a single Scratch, and I have it for several months now. Since I'm not a Pearl Diver and don't go near the water, I am not that concern about the 330 Feet, water resistant, but I do love the Illumination Glow part of it, you can see the whole thing at night, I am so glad I got it, such a nice looking watch for so little money. I am wearing it right now, Thank You
