Nice stylish watchJul 18, 2006
By Michael B. Johnson The longer I own this watch, the more I like it. (1 Month) 41 mm is a good size. Not too big, but big enough to be bold. The quartz technology keeps good time. I recently wore it on vacation which entailed shooting firearms in Elizabethtown Ky to riding roller coasters at six flags in Atlanta. I also attended a wedding. This watch looks great in shorts or a suit. The clasp works easily as does the bezel. The crown also functions well. To sum it up, I am satisfied with this purchase and will definitely consider Seiko in the future.

It's growing on meJul 25, 2008
By vinsanity51082 I have owned the watch for about a month now and it is certainly growing on me. It didn't quite strike my fancy upon first opening. That is probably because it arrived 7 calendar days after purchasing and I had forgotten exactly what I ordered.
The quality of the product is what I expected based on another Seiko I own: sturdy feel and precise. The watch has a nice little heft to it, and the all the second hand ticks aligned right with the minute markings. The luminescent markings are very clear. The glow is visible even in dim lighting.
My aesthetic appreciation for the watch grows a little each time I wear it. I don't think the online picture is terribly representative. The bezel has the grayish tone of titanium as specified; vs. the appearance of a flat black in the picture. Also not obvious in the picture is a slightly raised, concentric circle that borders within the luminescent marks. Hard to describe so I will try to provide a picture. The red second hand is very attractive, and a nice contrast to the dark face.
I wear it as a casual everyday watch, which by the modest design, is what I think it's intended for. The band is starting to show a little wear, but the crow, bezel, and face look new.
$150 is a reasonable price for the watch; but the original listing of $325 is a price point with a lot of other nice choices.
I'm no connoisseur, but I hope the review helps.

First Seiko purchaseJan 27, 2007

This watch is very well made, just as I expected. The Dial is smooth and the numbers are etiched in not printed. A life time watch that is well worth the money.
Love the watch, but arrived with dead batteryMar 02, 2012

Most watches ordered on the web have something to prevent them from wearing down the battery while in storage and shipping. This item did not, leaving me with a beautiful watch featuring a completely dead battery on arrival. Fifteen bucks later, I had it sized and working well with a new battery, and I have to say that it's my favorite of my watches. That said, I'm not a big spender on accessories- I have another Seiko that has a nylon band and colored face, a Movado that I bought back in my big-spender days when I was young, and a cheapo Time Expedition. That's it.
I will say that this bears a fair resemblance to a Rolex Submariner, which is a nice feature if they don't look at it too closely.
