Men's Watches | Home » » Seiko Men's SKA192 Kinetic Watch | | | | | | | Description: | | The Seiko Men's Kinetic Watch combines unique design with contrasting styles for a powerful visual punch. The large steel case features a two-toned stainless steel bezel with pieces of warm gold amidst the cool silver. The dial hosts dark silver and bright gold, showcasing the white-filled hour, minute, and second hands moving with the magic of kinetic energy. Your natural arm movement powers the watch, harnessing the energy for up to six months without being "charged." A gold-lined power indicator curves inside a polished gray circle around the hands so you can tell how much energy is reserved inside. Gold and white lines sit at each hour mark just inside a gray ring displaying white numerals at five-minute intervals and lines for the minutes in between. A small calendar display sits for the three o'clock hour. The white inside both hands as well as the lines gives off a soft glow in the dark, allowing you to tell the time regardless of where you and your watch are. Two-toned steel makes up the band, consisting of small gold pieces lying with flat silver links, all coming to a close with a fold over clasp with double push button safety for a close fit and a smooth feel. This bold timepiece boasts the reliability of Japanese quartz movement and is water resistant up to 330 feet (100 meters). | | | Features: | |

Beautiful and Tough Seiko KineticSep 26, 2008

I have worn this watch for about two years. It is very accurate, and keeps time within five seconds a month of the atomic clock in Boulder, CO. I like the gold accents on the band and case, and the gold treatment of the hands and hour markers on the face against the "gun metal gray" dial is striking. I have worn this watch while swimming in the ocean and had no problems, thanks to its 100 meters water-resistance. The watch is heavy, but reassuringly so. I have come to prefer stainless as the best watch material for sports watches; scratches can be buffed out, and it just looks good. I have also buffed out scratches on the mineral glass crystal. I can put this watch away for a month or two and it is still running and accurate. There can be little doubt that Seiko is one of the very top watchmakers in the world today.

Never need to replace batteryNov 07, 2007

I have this watch for over four years. Never need to replace the battery. It is an accurate movement watch.
The only thing I don't like is that every other month, you have to adjust the date at the begining of the month. It does not know Sepetember has 30 days, or Feburery has 28 days, since its calendar does not have month on it.

A Stunning TimepieceAug 11, 2009

The Seiko Men's Kinetic Watch #SKA192 is a Stunning Timepiece. It not only keeps great time, it looks great as well. Once I recieved the watch (whitch arrived sooner than I had expected)I could not believe my eye's. The #SKA192 is much more beautiful in person than the picture listed on Amazon. I have many watches but this one has become one of my favorites. Once this watch is fully charged it can be put away and still keep near perfect time for up to six months. Unlike other automatics this watch has a power reserve. Before I wore mine it needed to be wound and this was by holding the watch in my hand and moving it side to side until the second hand ran in one second intervals. The second hand will run in two second intervals if the power reserve is low. All the instructions and warranty come with the watch. I would advise reading the instructions before wearing the watch. All in all I am VERY PLEASED with my Seiko Kinetic watch #SKA192. A heck of a deal and money well spent.

Another nice, comfortable, relatively maintenance free watch from Seiko. This is my 3rd Kinetic watch from Seiko. All are very nice looking watches.
It appears to be very accurate as I've come to expect from Seiko over the years.
