Great Watch - Great ValueMar 02, 2009
By Mike I have been wearing my watch for a week now. It looks great and feels substantial. A very high quality timepiece. I have not had a mechanical watch since the early 70s, it is very retro and unique. I have not seen any automatic movement Seikos in any US stores.
Despite reading several internet tutorials on adjusting bracelet length, I was unable to do it myself. I ended up paying a jeweler $10 US to do it for me. He used a special pliers and made it look easy. Still a bargain. $175 Seikos sell for $125 - $140 in stores.
It is not as accurate as a quartz watch; this one gains 6 seconds a day. That is good for a mechanical watch of this price. I plan to deal with this by setting it 30 seconds slow and reset it when it is 30 fast. That is close enough for my life and as close as most people have their watches set anyway.
Buy it, you'll like it.

Excellent watch for the priceMar 29, 2011
By Derrial Book Received this as a gift over a year ago and it's become my favorite watch. The simple face, ease of adjustment, and automatic winding has made it a classic 'keep forever' device. As a tech addict I'd drifted from watches but found I liked the simplicity and reliability of a watch. After years of not wearing a watch it still takes some getting used to the metal linked band. Hair pulling is frequent enough to remind be it happens but not frequent enough to dissuade from wearing. Craftsmanship seems better than the price, so it's not in the Panerai Luminor category but good enough for my wrist.
Nice looking, poor time keeeperApr 02, 2012

This watch looks beautiful but it has a number of drawbacks: 1) the wristband is very hard to adjust even for a professional watchmaker due to the the type of link holder: 2) my watch ran fast and could not be adjusted.
Currently I had to send it back for repairs, instead of returning it, because I had already adjusted the wristband.
Have not heard from the repairer yet. Hopefully, I will get a functioning timepiece out of this.
Good Watch for the PriceJul 11, 2010
By Corkjc This is the second time I have bought this watch. I had the first for a year before it failed. It is a really good looking watch at a good price. The first lasted one year and I am not expecting the second one to last longer, I am tough on my watches.
