Arctura caliber in a Coutura shell.Nov 15, 2007

In this day & age of pre-beat to distress everything it's hard to fit in an all gold watch into the attire. But when one does choose their gold watch it is for a very special occasion. Thank You Amazon. Real Nice Price. And it came with paperwork this time! So what can I say that will be helpful? You're going to get attention. You're going to get compliments. You're going to get mugged. Such is the stigma of an all gold watch. Band has no extra-fine adjustment holes, but it has a half-link on either side of the clasp which should suffice. The stopwatch buttons are hard to push, but the manual states as such, there are solid metal parts involved, not like the Seiko quartz chronographs. As for readability, how can a person go wrong with black on white? But leaving it on while in bed in the dark will be next to useless...only the hands have glow-in-the-dark paint and they are quite small. I can't make out the time anyway. A Seiko diver is what you want if you're looking for a bright beddy-bye watch for dark room viewing. I believe Seiko was very proud of this particular all gold face, which is why they put it in a Coutura bezel.

A really classy looking watch, it will get you noticed. The only down side is that if you ware glasses you will not be able to tell the time in the dark as that dial is very small and the illumination is no that good. But if you want a watch that looks a million dollars then this is the watch for you.
