I'm using it more than 6 months now and i must say simply love it... yes it may be difficult to read because of low contrast difference but it's not that important..

This is a great watch. I got a great deal and am very happy with the whole look of it. I bought it for my husband and he was very excited when he saw it. I hope he doesn't have the same problem as the other reviewer with seeing the hands, but TIME will tell.(I would not have spent 395.00 on it, but was lucky and got it for 167.00.)

Awesome deal for an awesome watch
My dad loved it!
The only draw back that I can think of is that - sometimes one might find it difficult to spot the hands coz of the similar colored dial.

I have one other Seiko watch that is now which is 23 years old and works like the day I bought it so, the name speaks for it's self. This new watch seems to be as well built and easy to set. The picture doesn't do the watch justice, the light really sets this one off! I couldn't be happier!

Very well made watch that was a gift to my Dad for his marriage anniversary. It's heavy to a point where it seems very well built and of substantial quality - which it is.
I would buy nothing but Seiko when I shop for a watch next time.
