1Not a happy camper.Jun 05, 2011
By Hope
I want to rate it zero stars, but don't think it's allowed. Not sure if this was a one-off thing or not, but the 2nd time I wore this watch, the strings broke and all the beads and crystals fell to the floor. I emailed the retailer to ask for a replacement or a refund. Not only was the representative very rude, he accused me of breaking the watch and was very mean and would not do anything. Why would I buy a watch and purposely break it? Anyway, Amazon stepped in and after many emails back & forth, I mailed the broken watch back and I got my refund from Amazon. Terrible experience dealing with Watchgems.

1Unbearable!Feb 11, 2011
By Effi
The band broke on the second day I wore it. I was simply taking my hand out of my pocket and the band broke! It actually broke inside of my pocket because the little pieces are already in it. Considering that my last Swatch's pointer fell apart inside and the watch couldn't be opened, I'll never buy a Swatch again!

3Nice Watch, Beware of band!Jun 24, 2010
By Karimah
I bought this watch for my daughter, she loved it! Very nice watch, however the band is beaded onto a stretch plastic lace and it got snagged on something and broke, all the beads on one side of the watch fell off; never to be found again. Needless to say the watch band needed to be replaced and this same type of band is unavailable. I will keep searching for a replacement, maybe I will find a different one that is suitable. I do love the swatch brand though!

1The picture doesn't do it justice!May 31, 2011
By Brian D. Carter
Don't write your review until you've had the watch awhile. 2 days after the online warranty ran out, the watch strap fell apart for no apparent reason. It did not get snagged on anything, nor was it mistreated. I was simply drinking a glass of water and it fell apart. I wrote to the online store who was willing to absolutely nothing for other than to refer me to Swatch. I contacted Swatch who informed me that they do not support Amazon or online sellers and the warranty was void. I could however purchase a replacement strap for $45 plus shipping.

As much as I really love the watch, I will not be purchasing a new strap as all of the online customers seem to have the same issue.

I will also no longer be purchasing these items on Amazon where the warranty will not be honoured.

Lesson Learned.

3Awesome till it breaksMay 04, 2011
By Jenntree "Jenntree"
I love this watch so much that I've purchased four of them....unfortunately, I had to buy them one at a time as the bands broke. The average lifetime of the bands is three months. I would love to hear if anyone figures out how to keep them from breaking...I would never buy another watch!
