5Timex watch is great!Jul 17, 2008
By Danelle Jones
The band is stretchy and fits any wrist. My grandson, 2 1/2 years old, is enjoying learning about time. It has a hour, minute and second hand, all in different colors so it is easy to distinguish each. The little car attached to the second hand does not block the view of the numbers. Other watches have something attached to the second hand that blocks the view of the numbers. I wanted my grandson to be able to see all the numbers all the time.

A great purchase!

5Teaching TimeSep 28, 2008
By Jennifer A. Ebeck
I purchased this watch for my young grandson on his 4th Birthday. With the help of his mother and the marked hands on the watch he is already telling time. The hands are marked to show him which is the minute hand and which is the hour hand, how to tell it is 15 minutes past or 15 minutes to etc. He loves his watch and is very proud that he is telling time in only a short time that his mother has been teaching him.

A great buy for a child who wants to tell the time.

5Grandson ThrilledSep 04, 2009
By Richard L. Schad
Purchased for my 5 year old grandson.....he starts school this week and has not taken the watch off since we gave it to him. He really thinks he is a Big Boy now. He continues to learn about time on a daily basis. Plan on getting him another one for Christmas......maybe the camo?? If you want to be the FAVORITE Granpa....buy this!

5great first watchMar 03, 2009
By Joe'sMom
My son is 4, and may be a little young to start learning to tell time. But he really wanted a watch, so grandma bought him this one last Christmas.

This watch has all the elements of a great beginner time piece. First, I LOVE that it is not digital. It was hard to find a kids watch with an actual clock face. The Hour and Minute hands are labeled and colored differently. The second hand and little red car travel around the watch to count down the seconds. The watch face itself is divided in half to separate "Past" and "To", to help kids more easily distinguish between (for example) "quarter past" the hour vs "quarter til" the hour. The band is stretchy stain and water resistant fabric which helps with sizing and protects against the rough and tumble life of an active kids. And, my son's most favorite feature, the indiglo light up face!

This watch is well made, and the band is designed with colorful cars and trucks. And you can't go wrong with Timex.

I would probably recommend this for kids a little older than my son. While he loves it and wears it often, I think it something he will definitely grow into in a couple of years.

1Durability - 0!Dec 11, 2009
By Bahama Mama "charnette"
My 5 year old was very excited about receiving this watch as a birthday gift, and equally distraught when it failed within 30 days. The crystal scratches easily. The watch is supposed to be waterproof to 99 feet and the case was never opened; but the crystal was full of moisture bubbles after he swam with it on (and he was at the surface at all times - not nearly 99 feet). Needless to say the thing stopped working shortly thereafter.
