3Kinda "clunky"Mar 30, 2008
By Gordon H. Ripley "Renaissance Man"
I have owned a number of Iron man Timex watches. I liked the looks of this one on my my computer screen but found it to be really "clunky" when I got it. The small compass on the band could have been left off and can be easily removed. The display is very good and I like that. The band, however, is rubber and that I do not like!! I bought based on it having 2 time zones, multiple alarms, a light and reasonble cost. It's ok for the price but wish I could have seen it locally first. It was not available at my local Walmart though. Should last me a few years. Good for price and features.

4Repeat CustomerDec 01, 2009

This is my third Expedition in about 12 years because I am very rough on the plastic case. This one earned only 4 stars from me because of the cheesy, sticky plastic band rather than leather like my previous one. I like the large numbers and the indiglo button on top of the watch because it is easy to find and push although inadvertantly pushing it can make it require batteries a little sooner than other watches. What I especially like is the fact that the "crystal" is set down below the edge of the watch making it much harder to scratch it up when crashing it against abrasive materials. It's an excellent rough work watch yet its appearance is nice for this style of watch. Although the compass works fine, I'd rather use my GPS :), and I think the watch looks better without it so I remove it.

5Timex Is The WatchJul 30, 2007

Lots of great features, and super easy to set. I buy a watch for it's features, durability, style, long battery life and name. Timex has always been at the top of my list, and this watch continues their tradition of great watches at affordable prices.

5Keeps on tickingMar 05, 2010
By Charles K. Lam "chaslam"
I've been using this same type of watch from Timex for over six years. It has all the features that I need, like multiple alarms, count down, stop watch and big number display for my aging eyes. This is the fifth Timex watch of this type that I own. They all still work and are pretty banged up, except for one that I lost in the ocean after a bad wipeout surfing. That one is probably still ticking sitting on the reef.

4Solid WatchApr 15, 2009

This is a pretty good watch for general use and sports (ie running, cycling, etc.). It looks good and the indiglo is the reverse of previous watches I've owned (the digits glow - which is cool).

My only problem is the buttons feel a little flimsier then I'd like. I get the impression that they might not last 5 years (the age of my last Timex Expedition, which I lost unfortunately - hence my buying this watch). I also wish you could choose your band. I don't like bands made from rubber and the compass is 100% worthless.

If this watch came with a fastwrap strap and the buttons didn't feel flimsy then I'd give it 5 stars.
