5Great watch at a great priceAug 23, 2007
By OdiesMommie "Duck"
I bought this watch as a 'spare' for my husband. He's had this same brand and style of watch as a work watch for nearly 20 years. He works outside all the time doing substation maintenance and needs a watch that can take some roughness. He's never had a problem with this watch. The only reason I bought a new one is so he would have an extra one should something happen to his older one. He's never even wanted to try any other kind of watch since this brand and style works best for him. It's a rugged watch that can endure some rough knocks due to the type of work he does. He's never had any problems with the Timex and doesn't want to change. The price is great, the watch is durable yet stylish, and the shipping was fantastic.

5One of the better looking digital watchesNov 04, 2009
By Richard G.
I had looked at the similar Casio digital models, but this Timex had the best appearance to me.Many of the digital watches have a sort of cheesy or toy-like look to them, but not this one.I wanted a work watch that displayed the month and day,...and that was lightweight also. The setting modes are straight forward too,...I like that. I switched the watchband to a Timex Expedition Fast Wrap and it's perfect. Talk about comfortable. Keeps perfect time,...and oh yes, the green tint of the display when you angle it towards any light is exotic looking. The night light illuminates the dial nicely too.

5Takes a Licking...Mar 24, 2009
By Christopher Random "Music Lover"
The basic form and function of this watch speaks for itself. Look at the picture and you've got it. I won't say much about that. What I will say is that I bought one of these at the start of boot camp and took it with me to the desert and not once did it stop working. I wore it nonstop for the better part of 2 years. I slept with it on. I ate with it on. I showered with it on. This thing has endured all manner of weather and circumstance. I pretty much only took it off every once in a while to clean the inside of the band, on which salt and grime would accumulate from long, sweaty use. This watch is simple and strong. I bought mine for 10 bucks from the Army PX and didn't have to replace the battery or do anything to it for approximately 3 years. The band had somehow "vulcanized" and become hard and brittle after the constant abuse it took from me, so when it snapped I chucked it and bought a new one. The only other thing I'll add is that it is very light and you'll hardly notice it's on your wrist. That's a big deal to me. I couldn't recommend a product more highly. Though I wish it were still only 10 bucks, I'll put frugality aside for a second and say that it's well worth it even at 3 times the price- if perfect functionality and durability are of any value to you.

4Timex watchApr 02, 2010
By William L. Jeffreys
It's a plain ol' digital watch, with timer functions and a few other features. It works well for me and I like it. My old one wore out and I was pleasantly surprised to find the same watch. I bought it again without hesitation.

5Excellent!Dec 12, 2006
By Amarendra Godbole
I have been using this watch for the past 6 years, and I simply love it. Over time I have used a couple of other watches, but I come back to this one. I changed the strap once, and haven't changed the battery yet! It is very simple yet very elegant, and looks very neat on anyone's wrist. I also like the greenish LCD reflection from this watch.
