Built to last!Sep 07, 2008
By Ramon Negron I purchased this watch in 1997 & it has been working ever since. It's gone down to 100+ feet with no problem. I have hit it, dropped it & soaked it. I lost it in a mountain biking accident inside a muddy creek bed. A few months later the creek bed dried up & I saw it. I picked it up & it was still ticking. It had no oxidation, no rust and no damage. Wenger makes a great watch.

Solid WatchFeb 02, 2008

I've had this watch for 5+ years, and it has held up well. I've gone swimming, bathed, paddled boats, and generally worn it without any special care.
Aside from the fake bezel (does not move & is useless), it's a fine watch that looks a full grade nicer than it is. No need to blow $250+ on a Victorinox. Good for a smaller man's wrist.
Oh, and it tells the time too. Sweet.

False sizeSep 16, 2011
By Ju The add does not show the real size: it does not have 40mm, but 37 mm instead. It realy makes diference, since it looks like a litle girl watch. Unfortunatelly I lost the time frame to return it.

Lousy WatchJun 20, 2011
By fairdeal Don't buy this watch if you are a guy as it looks like a little girl's play watch. The pictures on line don't give you a proper sense of its dimensions. The watch is tiny and the numbers are tinier. I am going to have to return it, but it's going to cost me monty to ship it back. It makes me wonder if I should ever shop at Amazon again.

Long Life!Apr 08, 2010
By Doak Procter I have almost the same watch, except that I purchased it a good 15 years ago. Although I have not treated it well, it has rewarded me with a long life and excellent performance. It keeps perfect time, so I only reset it at the beginning and end of Daylight Savings Time or when I go to a different time zone (which is rare). A few years ago, I thought it needed to be repaired. I took the watch to the watch repair shop, and they informed me that it only needed a new battery. They were right. Other than the occasional band cleaning, that is the extent of the maintenance this watch has required for 15 years.
My only disappointment is that, like a another reviewer mentioned, Wenger has changed the model to a white face. I prefer the black face that I have, now. It just looks better with the steel (white looks better with either gold or something dark). So, I knocked off a star for appearance (only). For performance, this guy gets five stars and then some.
