Disapponting service from WengerJun 18, 2008
By aReviewer The Watch seems very good, and in fact was good to use for a while -- however within 6 months the spring action on the hinge failed, and despite wenger NA still claiming in the watch details that it is possible to get a braille manual -- they have informed me that this is actually not possible.
When I contacted the manufacturer via the information included with the watch I was told to ship the watch to canada for repairs -- I have now shipped my watch to canada to have repairs done -- but they -- after receiving my watch -- now have doubts about their ability to repair it -- or even to ship it back.
On the whole it has been a bad experience

Quality is outstandingMay 04, 2008
By okiedan I looked at many watches before making this selection. It is a fine watch made in Switzerland. The contrast on the dial is excellent. It is well made. The hardware is durable and functional. The band is high quality leather that looks and feels great. In low light situations you can push the button and the dial pops up. The hands are easy to feel with your fingers. This watch is great for both low vision and blind individuals. It is the first low vision/braille watch that I have seen that is both functional to my needs and maintains good looks.
UPDATE: It is now 2012. This watch is still fully functional and the braille buttons are great. had to get a new battery last month which prompted me to update this review. I have worn it every day since 2008.
